The famous Cours Mirabeau, home to idle pleasures and animated conversation in the cool shade of century-old plane trees, also harbours this charming 18th century hotel where peace and comfort are to be found in the very heart of the old town of Aix. It has entertained some illustrious guests; King Louis XIV, amongst others, played tennis here in 1660.
