The hotel staff member, when we arrived, was pleasant and helpful. The location was good as was the service and cleanliness. The rooms were small but adequate and the price was good.

A great location - close to transport, easy walking distance to many excellent cafes and restaurants. The room we had (401) was spaciously comfortable with air conditioning and double glazed windows. The staff were friendly and efficient - and just like every other delightful Frenchman/woman we met - were always helpful and had no qualms about speaking English (it was better than listening to our woeful butchering of their beautiful language!) We did not have breakfast there, so I can't comment on that aspect - however the omelettes in the cafe across the street are fantastic! I would recommend the Hotel Elysa Luxembourg whole heartedly - oh, and don't forget to take a wander around the Luxembourg Gardens, they're just beautiful.
