Although the room itself was basic, we were happy with our stay at St Eloi. The main building is incredibly charming, restaurant excellent, service in the hotel fantastic - informal but respectful. The owner makes it his business that you enjoy your stay there and feel very welcome. So for anyone who just needs a bed to sleep in, a clean room and a shower that works - go for it. Apart from the rooms (which are OK not bad, nice wardrobes but rooms themselves are small and a bit dull) the place has loads of style, class and character. An unforgettable stay!
