Neighbourhood...
Here are some pictures and painting of Hotel Roma Montmartre** immediate neighbourhood, at various eras. The first picutres shows Toulouse Lautrec himself painting a Montmartroise. The second one is a postcard of rue Saint Rustique, at the turn of the XXth century. It can be considered as a typical Montmartre street, provincial, narrow and...so romantic !! The third is a picture of the famous Montmartre staircase. They are many in Montmartre, which is a hill.
