Hotel Le Domaine de Rochevilaine
Pointe de Pen Lan 56190 Billiers

Bretagne

Introduction
To the west of Europe, Brittany presents itself like an open window on the Atlantic. On the sunny Southern Coast, the county of Morbihan encloses its small sea, better known by the name of the Golfe du Morbihan. The latter is studded with small islands, many of them privately owned, unobtrusively inhabited or simply havens to resident or passing birds. On the opposite side of this sheltered prospect, the Pointe de Pen Lan presents itself like a veritable boat upon the ocean of which the Domaine of Rochevilaine is the prow. The façades of the building are in direct contact with the waves coming from the open sea. Built literally with "its feet in the water" the place as a whole is unique. The sea spray and the sea climate are inevitable; a real sea cure straight from its origins! Here you are in another world, where it is easy to relax and unwind.
Bed Room

Should you choose one of the manors surrounded by trees and flowers for your stay, from your bedroom or suite, you will discover the stunning sight of the ocean when the setting sun sinks gently below the horizon, or when the wind blows fiercely causing the waves to crash dramatically onto the rocks below.. Captain of a stone vessel you will contemplate the immensity of the ocean or the calm Vilaine estuary through the wide bay windows of your bedroom. The isle of Dumet is just opposite, you are on a cruise! Some bedrooms have a private terrace. Satellite television and news enable you to be in contact with the whole world, should you wish. All comforts and an attentive service have been put together to make your stay unforgettable.

Restaurant

Old parquet floors, oriental carpets, dark wooden sideboards, painted and shaped beams, all contribute to the sumptuous appearance of a Lord of the manor's dining-room. Due to the geographical situation, the menu emanates the ocean, fish and seafood are placed high on the menu. Patrice Caillault, the chef and member of the Culinary Academy of France, chooses for you according to the seasons, mullet in summer-time or scallops once autumn comes. As an enthusiast for authentic produce, he creates his sauces uniquely from the juices of vegetables, shellfish and fish. Like the ocean, the menu displays an infinite variety. Although several successful dishes continue throughout the year, clients are very keen on the personalised ideas that Patrice Caillault offers in the "menu of confidence", so prized by connoisseurs. Here, Brittany casts a spell on you. The remarkable wine list is subject to many discoveries subtly advised by the wine waiter Jean-Marc Britaud.
