Introduction
The History of a Family and its 18th C. residence in Paris...: the birth of Lucien Laborde in Sauveterre, Claude Lecourbe in Besançon. Late 19th C.: Gaston Laborde-Lecourbe and his wife Marie-Louise acquired the house that was to become the Hôtel Lecourbe. Very close to the Montparnasse of the 'twenties and 'thirties, the family collected books, paintings and "objets d'art" of their day. Reunited once again, these souvenirs now decorate the hotel.

Staying at the Hôtel Lecourbe is as moving as browsing trough a family album...
As soon as you step inside the lobby, you'll fall to the charm of Canonici' s sculptures and paintings by Dan. Then, as you make more discoveries, you'll fell a certain complicity. When one shares a family's privacy, one easily understands their passion for art, the fascination of time spent with artists.
