I) About us
| Who are we? |
|
France Hotel Online is a French Travel Agency located in Paris and focused on France.
Our selection of charming boutique hotels offers you the best of France at the best rates.
Sometimes, Bigger Is Not Better. Don't think "Chain Hotels" when the term "Boutique Hotels" comes up. "Boutique" hotels come in all sizes, some have as few as ten rooms and some are quite a bit larger. We have limited our selections to hotels with 40 rooms or less. Frequently independently owned, often run by families, and sometimes housed in former nunneries, abbeys or even townhouses of famous people; these hotels offer more charm and character than most of the top rated Michelin hotels. Although starting to become popular also oustside of France, they're a rapidly increasing phenomenon in France. Rather than tearing down a block, in order to construct a monolithic monstrosity with halls that go on forever, the French hoteliers would rather lovingly restore their architectural treasures.
We make you a promise: We will do our best to make your next trip to France an enduring souvenir !

II) Security & Privacy
| Technology |
|
Thanks to our state-of-the art (SSL) technology, transactions made via our system are as safe as if you were booking directly at the desk of your hotel. Note that we ask your credit card details only because hotels required such information to confirm a reservation. |
| |
|
| |
We use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that transactions are secure and private. Once you enter a reservation form, you are automatically taken into the secure part of the site. While the SSL technology encrypts all of your personal and credit card details, the security features built into Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, and AOL, protect your Internet communications with: server authentication, privacy using encryption, and data integrity.
The SSL Certificate, issued by Thawte, a Verisign company, proves that you can submit your information online with the assurance that you are actually dealing with our company (not an impostor's spoof site). This certificate also shows that data sent, such as credit card details, is protected from interception or alteration over the Web. At Decouvertes, France Hotel Online being one of the brand of our company, we use the standard for online merchants, a 128-bit SSL, the world's strongest SSL encryption. |
