The "Mas des Comtes de Provence" is a luxury guest-house, in the heart of Provence. It is situated at the foot of the "Alpilles" and on the edge of the Camargue, a short distance from Avignon, St Remy de Provence, Arles and Nimes. Our historic and distinctive mansion house, dating from the 15th century, provides luxury accommodation, air-conditioned comfort and "table d'hotes" evening meals. The residence is located in the midst of the orchards of Tarascon and is surrounded by a magnificent private park covering 5 acres. It also has an impressive interior courtyard, a vaulted reception room with open fire and a large swimming pool. The pool, which is situated in the Park, is close to, but slightly apart from the residence. It is built of stone, and is of an imposing size - 18 metres by 7 metres. It reminds one of a classical Italian pool, with its emerald green water, and the parasol pines around its edge. In this magical setting you can do as you please - take a siesta in the shade of the trees to the sound of the chirruping cicadas, play a game of "petanque" with other guests accompanied by a refreshing pastis, enjoy an intimate meal under the parasols of the courtyard or spend an evening listening to classical music by the poolside

The Sarrazine Apartment The "Sarrazine" Apartment is a large bedroom, decorated predominantly in shades of green and white, with a double bed (180cm by 200cm). The bathroom is decorated with marble tiles and has a capacious shower. The apartment is air-conditioned The Comtadine Apartment This apartment is bright and spacious, and can accommodate up to 3 guests. It is decorated in white, ivory and pearl grey. It can be furnished with a large double bed (180cm by 200cm)or two single beds (90cm by 200cm), and is large enough to accommodate an extra single bed. The bathroom, decorated in the same colours, contains toilet, hand-basin and bath. The apartment is air-conditioned. The Tarasque Apartment This apartment looks onto the interior courtyard and has a large bedroom, with a double bed, 180cm by 200cm, and also includes a spacious alcove which can be used as an office or as an additional sleeping area with two single beds. The large, fully-equipped bathroom leads off the vestibule, and reflects the white and ochre decorations and motifs of the main room. The apartment is air-conditioned. The Garance Apartment This apartment is the mirror image of the "Tarasque" apartment and also looks onto the interior courtyard. It includes a vestibule, bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds (90cm by 200cm) and a large alcove. The fully-equipped bathroom, with bath, is decorated with marble and tiling in harmony with the bedroom's decor of "provencal" reds. The apartment is air-conditioned. The "Roi Rene" Suite The "Roi Rene" Suite is a very spacious apartment of almost 100m, with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a bed / living room (with shower-room in marble) and a vestibule. It can accommodate up to six guests. The Suite is decorated in shades of ivory, brown and beige. This suite is air-conditioned. The Camargue Suite This Suite comprises two charming bedrooms, one with a large double bed (180cm by 200cm), the other with two single beds (90cm by 200cm). It has a fully-equipped bathroom, and is situated on the ground floor, with entrances from the interior courtyard and also from the Park. As the name suggests, the decoration is inspired by the colours of the Camargue ; strong, lively ; brilliant white with hints of red, evoking the colours of the bullfighting arenas.
