Hotel Bel Ami is situated on what was once the west wing of the Abbey St. Germain. At the end of the 14th Century, Pope Alexander III was able to enter the monastery through a doorway situated in what is now the Lobby of the Hotel Bel Ami.
In recognition of her design flair and management expertise, Grace Leo-Andrieu was appointed management consultant, with overall responsibility for the concept and renovation of Hotel Bel Ami. Assembling a team comprising the architect, Christian Lalande and the interior designers' Nathalie Battesti and Veronique Terreaux, Mme Andrieu and her team
set to task in completely renovating the ground and first floor, giving birth to the Bel Ami. |
