France Hotel Online offers its clients solid guarantees as per French law regulating the tourism industry.
French laws are among the toughest of the world offering our clients the high security level.
We have subscribed and unlimited guarantee with APS - Professional Association of Solidarity in Tourism.
3. What makes our offer so different?
We are based in Paris, in the midts of our market and specialize in France only. Many hotels we present are not offered on major travel websites such as Travelocity or Expedia because they are too small, or wish to remain independent.
Cocoon Hotel is an exclusive program from France Hotel Online. Hotels participating in this program offer their France Hotel Online guests a free room upgrade if a room of a superior category is available at the time of check in. No need to call us or call the hotel. Just print the hotel’s presentation page and show it at the reception desk upon check in. If a room of superior category is available at that time, it’s yours at no extra cost!
4. Booking and amending a reservation.
Booking a hotel is a simple 3 steps process:
Select your hotel – most of our hotels present real-time availability
Fill in the reservation form,
Fill in the payment form. We charge you a 20% deposit.
Amending a reservation
To add a room, just make a new reservation.
To lengthen your stay, please make a new reservation for the extra night(s).
To shorten your stay, please reply to your confirmation email of the reservation and copy your hotel with your new dates on this email.
Your reservation is a biding contract; your hotel holds a room for the total length of your stay. If you do shorten your stay, the 18% deposit charged on your credit card upon reservation confirmation will not be refunded. The amount of deposit considered by hotel for final billing will be pro rated to the length of your stay.
Deposit for the cancelled part of your stay will not be refunded and can not be applied to your final bill.
Outstanding amount to be paid at the hotel for shortened stays : P(N-C)*0,82
Where : P is the Price per night, N the initial number of nights, and C the number of cancelled nights.
Cancellation & no show policies vary from one partner to the other.

Cancellation fee:
Up to 72 hours before arrival *: 18% deposit
Late cancellation: 18% deposit + 1 night
No show: 18% deposit + 2 nights
* 1.00 PM is the default arrival time at the hotel
All tours are combined with pick up at your hotel.
To pick you up for your tour, we need to know your hotel address (required in the tour reservation form). Therefore, we strongly recommend you book your hotel first and then your tour.
7. How are your price determined. Can I negotiate the price?
Hotels prices, promotions and availability are managed by hotels directly on our extranet.
By contract, hotels are obligated to give our clients a fair price, i.e. the best price they offer for their hotel on any other website.
Our system offers real time availability for most hotels : booking are confirmed immediately.
Even if low and high seasons still govern hotels pricing policies, yield management is now largely used and results often in a unique price per client.

9. Can you accommodate groups?
Yes. For larger groups - 10 rooms or more, please submit your reservation on request form for groups. We will reply to your request within 2 working days. We will negotiate for you directly with several hotels to offer you the best quality/price ratio. We can also organise excursions or meals in selected restaurant for your groups.
10. Do you offer an affiliation or partnership program?
We are open for any type of collaboration related to our core business : hotels, restaurants, chateaux, seminars.
